Born Eric Wright on September 7, 1963, in Compton, California, a city in Los Angeles County, Eazy-E, was a West Coast rap artist who co-founded Ruthless Records and started the group N.W.A. with fellow rappers O’Shea “Ice Cube” Jackson and Andre “Dr. Dre” Young. A radio show host as well, he died from AIDS-related complications on March 26, 1995.
